(The) Human Singularity

This is the main title of a new Book to be published (initially written in French, copyright (c) 2020, then in English (c) 2021), hopefully in 2022, about what makes the Human so special, hence whether those beings labeled “Homo Saps” by Arthur C. Clarke, aka ‘us’, will prevail over fast improving Robots, linked through networking Artificial Intelligence as ‘RobAIs’. This is just starting to be a global issue of a magnitude comparable or even greater than climate change, especially since a “Technological Singularity” has been predicted or even advocated by a stream of computationalists and other gurus for decades as the incoming point where Robots/AI might reach this specific Human power, self-consciousness, and even exceed it. Many books have been written about or around this issue but apparently very few inter-disciplinary enough addressing what the eventual match ‘Homo Sap versus RobAI’ involves, from Linguistics and Computational Complexity to Mathematics, Physics, Cosmology (with singularities and the Anthropic principle), not ignoring what scrutinizers of our psyche and brains have come to tell us.
